Three Shakira concerts are left in Madrid: Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026. They run from 21:00 to 23:00 at the Estadio Shakira, inside Iberdrola Music, in Villaverde. The City Council expects around 57,000 people each day.
The data comes from the City of Madrid mobility plan. According to that plan, the venue opens at 13:00 in principle. Access to the floor and stands, however, starts at 20:00 every day. When it ends, the exit runs from 23:00 to 1:00.
The venue sits on Calle Laguna Dalga, in Villaverde. Iberdrola Music describes it as a temporary space for more than 50,000 people per night. In fact, the residency has 12 dates: six happened in September, three on 2, 3 and 4 October, and the last three are this weekend. That is why this guide looks only at October, when the nights already turn cool.
How to dress for the Shakira concert 2026 in Madrid
Wear your own clothes with one Shakira nod: coins on the hip, a gold top, faux-leather bootcut, fringe or mesh ballet flats. Add flat shoes for hours of standing, a light jacket for the way out and a bag up to 40×20×20 cm. This weekend’s lows are around 9-11°C, so the layer is not optional.
Shakira concert outfit: how to dress without looking like a costume
My rule is one Shakira code per look. Pick one of five: a coin belt or coin scarf on the hip, a gold halter top, faux-leather bootcut trousers, fringe, or mesh ballet flats. Everything else, your own everyday clothes.
- Coins on the hip. It is the clearest nod to her roots. El Independiente suggests a belt with metal appliqués or coins over the hip.
- Gold. A gold halter top is enough to shine on the floor.
- Faux leather. Black faux-leather bootcut trousers hold up through the night and the cold.
- Fringe. Better on a jacket or a necklace than on the whole look.
- Mesh ballet flats. They are the code that also lets you stay on your feet.

For ten hours in Villaverde, though, I would keep just one. A Shakira concert outfit with one nod reads as style; with four, as a costume. There is also one data point that changes everything. On Google Trends Spain, over the last three months, “qué ponerse concierto shakira” scores 0. Meanwhile, “outfit concierto shakira” scores 739 and “outfit shakira,” 896. Nobody searches what to wear: everybody searches for an outfit.

Flat, closed and already broken in. If you arrive when the venue opens, at 13:00, and leave at the end of the exit, at 1:00, you can spend up to 12 hours on your feet. Even if you arrive at 20:00, that is still about five.
I did that math with the City Council’s official schedule, not with an estimate. That is why footwear is the piece that weighs most in your Shakira concert outfit. These are my options, from most to least comfortable:
- White or leather sneaker. The safe bet for the floor.
- Flat ankle boot. It guards against stomped toes and keeps you warm when the temperature drops.
- Mesh ballet flats. They are the Shakira nod, but with little sole. Wear them only if you have already worn them a full day.
Therefore, I rule out heels and open sandals: on the floor there are a lot of people and a lot of dancing. On the other hand, Live Nation publishes no footwear rule, so the choice is yours. Ballet flats, by the way, are on the rise. On Google Trends Spain, “bailarinas” went from 19 to 37 in three months, almost double. In short, they work for the concert and for the whole autumn.
What can you bring into the Shakira concert?
A bag or backpack up to 40×20×20 cm or 20 litres, checked at the door. A hand fan and a compact umbrella without a tip are allowed. Perfumes, aerosols, handheld fans and selfie sticks, on the other hand, are banned.
This is the list of Live Nation’s access rules, the promoter, which is the source that rules:
- Bag or backpack: 40×20×20 cm at most, or 20 litres.
- Soft-plastic water bottle: 500 ml, without its cap.
- Hand fan yes; handheld electric fan, no.
- Compact folding umbrella without a tip yes; with a tip or rigid, no.
- No perfumes, deodorants, sprays or aerosols.
- No professional or DSLR cameras, and no selfie sticks.
For a Shakira concert outfit, this comes down to three things. First, a small crossbody bag, which keeps your hands free. Then, put your perfume on at home, because it will not get past the door. Besides, a hand fan can be your accessory with a nod. The rules can change, so check them on the day of the concert.
Shakira concert outfit in October: what is the weather at night?
October nights in Madrid are cool. According to AEMET’s normal values for Getafe, the month’s mean low is 9.9°C and the mean high, 20.6°C. It also rains an average of 6.6 days in October. Always carry a light layer.
The data are AEMET’s normal climate values for the Getafe station, from the 1981-2010 period. In addition, October brings 50 mm of rain in total. Of course, these are averages, not a forecast. For your concert day, check AEMET’s forecast that same morning.
Forecast for this weekend (9 October): Meteored gives Saturday 10 a high of 23°C and a low of 9°C, and Sunday 11 24°C and 11°C. On the way out, from 23:00 to 1:00, it will be cool: keep the jacket on.

How do I get there and back?
By Metro, on line 3 to Villaverde Alto or line 12 to Los Espartales, with extra service from 0:00 to 1:30. By Cercanías, to Villaverde Alto or San Cristóbal Industrial. And back, with the EMT’s free shuttle to Atocha.
According to the City Council’s plan, the Villaverde Alto Cercanías station has lines C4a, C4b and C5. San Cristóbal Industrial is on the C3. The shuttle uses electric buses, leaves from Gran Vía de Villaverde and runs from 23:00 to 2:00. In short, you will get home late and surrounded by people. That is why I insist on two pieces of the Shakira concert outfit: the layer for the small hours and the crossbody bag for the platform.
